The Corrèze River
The source of the Corrèze River is just a few kilometers from the house. The Corrèze is 95 km long and is a left tributary of the Vézère River. The Vézère is 211 km long and is, in turn, a major tributary of the Dordogne River. The Dordogne is 483 km long and flows into the Bay of Biscay, known in some French regions as the Gulf of Gascony, a bay of the North Atlantic Ocean. The Plateau de Millevaches area is also considered the Château d'Eau de la France, or "France's Water Tower" in English. The source of the Corrèze river is approximately 4.5 km from the house as the crow flies.

After 4.5 km the river flows into the estate and it already looks like this.
