Domaine Le Marouby

The estate is located in the commune of Bonnefond in the 'lieu-dit' Le Marouby . Several streams, including 'ruisseau de Bonnefond' and 'ruisseau de Mons' , flow through the estate and converge in 'La Corrèze' . There are several private and public footpaths and roads on and around the estate. The area exudes tranquility in a beautiful rural setting where forests, meadows, humid zones, heathland, streams and vistas alternate playfully. The rolling landscape is part of the Plateau de Millevaches and lies around 700 metres above sea level. These foothills of the Massif Central are sometimes called "the water tower of France" because of the lakes and peat bogs and the numerous rivers that have their source there, including the Vézère , the Vienne, the Corrèze and the Creuse. Despite its fairly southern location, the altitude ensures that the evenings on warm summer days are cooling.
